About one week has passed since the last entry and we have seen some serious growth. All tomato plants (12) have sprouted and grown to about 1-2 inches. All but one of the Serrano chilies (17) have sprouted and are about at 1 inch tall.  Only 4 of the sweet peppers have sprouted but they do have a longer germination period... (10-21 days)... so I expect the rest to sprout this week. The plants are still upstairs where they receive direct sunlight for about half the day.
